The Unbreakable Bond
by Amy_Webber

Sometimes there are no answers,
Sometimes we just don't know,
Why God makes the decision,
To call an angel home.

Although we cannot understand,
We know there is a reason.
A time to live, a time to love,
To everything, a season.

Her head will rest on angels wings,
As she looks down from above.
She'll see the tears we cry for her,
Full of sorrow, and of love.

She loves you so, although she's gone,
She'll never really leave.
Her soft sweet hands will pat your tears
Through heaven's gentle breeze.

Remember that she's with us still.
You'll see her through your pain.
She's the sun that shines down through the clouds,
She's a cool, calm April rain.

She's a perfect little snowflake,
She's the ocean's breaking waves.
We won't forget what she has taught,
We won't forget the gifts she gave.

She'll always be your baby girl,
And each morning when you wake,
You'll feel her there, you'll feel her love,
Through the bond that never breaks.

Written in memory of Allison Grace Jacobs - in the arms of angels now.

POEM FOR ALEXIS (ajpr2)
by JenniferJean

Mommy! Mommy!
Here I am!
I was chosen by God,
To help watch over Man

I just got fit,
For a pair of wings,
Most would say,
I'm too young to have these.

I miss you and daddy,
In so many ways,
You holding me close,
The times we would play.

I know you are sad,
I am too,
But it was something
We had to go through.

Don't despair,
I've made good friends.
All are helping me,
To help you mend.

I wonder how,
To help you heal,
From all the sadness,
I know you feel.

I love you mommy,
I still wish to play,
But now I must go about it,
In a different way.

If you look up above,
Far up in the sky,
You may see a twinkle,
Of light going by.

Mommy, that's me,
Don't you see?
I'm wearing my new,
bright angel wings.

Standing in the Gap
by Babbie Mason

I heard that you were hurting and that you were suffering pain,
But I didn't dare just turn my head and look the other way.
For when your heart is aching, my heart is aching too.
Let me help you bear your burden. It's the least that I can do.

I'll be standing in the gap for you.
Just remember someone, somewhere, is praying for you.
Calling out your name, praying for your strength.
I'll be standing in the gap for you.

Right now you may be troubled, but everything will work out fine.
For the Spirit knows before you speak what is on your heart and mind.
So I'll be here to hold you up 'til you're standing strong again.
Peace that passes understanding is gonna be yours, but until then...

I'll be standing in the gap for you.
Just remember someone, somewhere, is praying for you.
Calling out your name, praying for your strength.
I'll be standing in the gap for you.

So hang on my friend, it won't be long
And you'll have the strength to carry on.
Where two or three are working together, it will be a much lighter load.
For isn't that what a brother and a sister are for?

I'll be standing in the gap for you.
Just remember someone, somewhere, is praying for you.
Calling out your name, praying for your strength.
I'll be standing in the gap for you.
