Hi! My name is Barbara, DH is Larry and we have been married for almost 6 years now! We have a soon to be 4 year old son, Nicholas Alexander, born on April 8, 1998. We also have three cats, all Maine Coons, named Ashes, Sammi & Petie. My due date is April 19, 2002.
This is our second child. I spotted with my son and I was high risk almost all the way to the third trimester, and he was born ok! This time I'm feeling sooooo tired all the time, and the nausea I've had since week 3 is starting to disappear, it's actually almost non-existent at this point. When I found out I was pregnant I was already 3 days late. I had a feeling I was because all the signs were there. I took the test at 2:30am and it was positive! After that I scanned the test and emailed it to my DH. That day he opened it and called me from work to find out if I was joking or not.
I immediately that day told one of my friends, my sister and 2 of my cousins. On labor day (Sept. 3) we had our parents over for a *barbecue* and after eating we handed them their *early Grandparents Day gifts*! I had these huge chocolate bars I bought from Hershey's Chocolate World personalized with "I'm a BIG Brother Now!" from our son Nicholas. They were ecstatic, and the questions starting flying: when? how? so are you going to move now? And my Mom swears she had a feeling a few weeks before that because I mentioned that I didn't feel well and I was so tired, she said "a Mother always knows!". We recently announced to the rest of our families and our friends by sending everyone a baby webpage.
