I was about 3 days late. As I ovulate on day 8 and I have a 22 day cycle, I was actually 11 days late (but I took the test at day 31).
This is a new (2nd) marriage for me. I already have 2 sons, 6 and 2, and my husband wants a child of his own, so I had went off b/c 6 months ago. He came home from work and I said "How would you feel about getting a Father's Day card next year". He said "Sure". I don't think he really "got it" at first. So I said "I'm pregnant". It took a few days to sink in. We have been telling people slowly. I don't want to jump the gun at this point until I get past the first trimester.
