Hi! My name is Nicole and my husband's name is Todd! We have two cats named Emmy and Oscar!
This will be our first child, and we are very excited about becoming parents. My mother is anxious for another grandchild (I have an adorable nephew, Christian), so of course she is the first person we told. Actually, we didn't get a chance to tell anyone else ourselves because my mom had told everyone within two hours! Then, she was terrified that I would be angry at her for not allowing me to do it myself. I knew that her excitement had overshadowed her common sense, so I didn't get upset with her. Our families have been a little reserved about getting excited because I have had two miscarriages this year, and I have low progesterone again this time. But, we are hopeful that things will turn out better with this one. If this baby is a girl, she will be named Ashton, after my grandmother (that's my grandmother's maiden name, not her first name). We are still very undecided on a boy's name.
