Hi! I'm Jennifer and dh is Dan. We were married on July 1, 2000 and found out this past August that we were expecting baby #1. I was originally a member of TWG. I started posting over there back in May. At the end of July about 7 dpo I started feeling sharp twinges in my right side. I've NEVER cramped with AF before so something told me that this may be it. On a whim I ended up testing with FRE at 11 dpo and got a faint positive. I simply could not believe it. I didn't tell dh until the next morning after I retested. I had gotten a false positive 2 cycles before so I wanted to be sure before I made the big announcement. I didn't do anything special as far as telling dh goes. I just kind of blurted it out with a big grin on my face. He honestly didn't believe me at first. Since I was smiling so much he thought that I might be joking with him. (Yeah, who would joke about something like a baby!) He was thrilled once he got over the shock. Actually, I think he still may be in shock. All of our friends and family found out pretty early and have been very supportive. We are estatic about this baby and can't wait to see what he/she looks like. April will not come soon enough.
